Why don’t you look like your parents? People sometimes ask me.

A young girl beautifully and positively responds to difficult questions about adoption and her personal adoption story. For a child, answering the harder questions around their adoption story may be tricky, but it doesn’t have to be.

“Mimo’s Answers” introduces possible answers or responses adopted children can use until they develop their own. Adoption is a wonderful but unpredictable journey, and this book is to help empower adopted children to be able to talk about their special past and be ready for anything they may be asked.

“Mimo’s Answers” has been beautifully illustrated by Jackie Frazer, an upcoming artist and graphic designer on the Sunshine Coast.
