These are Love Letters to My Father. A Father that is always there watching out for me even when I did not even care to look out for my self. He urged me with soothing words and gifts of love, to be one with him. At first I did not accept his invitation , I felt annoyed at the asking, because I lived in a world that did not agree with this type of love. This type of relationship. They thought it strange and unnatural. They did all that they could to get my mind away from his love, away from his promises of joy. Unable to get him out of my mind, out of my heart, I found myself running back into his loving arms , Unashamed I I found that hungered for the intimacy of his presence The encouragement of his words, and much to my unabashed shame, his unlimited gifts. I finally had to make a life changing decision, to ignore the disapproval of the masses and to stand in the face of ridicule, discrimination, maybe even death. I made the promise to him, that he had already made to me... One day we would be one.
