About the Book

This volume begins the adventures of John Henry Moses.  An average, white, middle class, unmarried man who has spent his life looking for happiness and finding comfort instead.  One day he is returning from his job of some twelve years, the first ten he enjoyed the last two he did not, when he becomes a part of a tabloid headline.

He is CAPTURED, alien abducted.  Thus into an environment where he must fight immediately for his survival. Sicken by the transport he set upon by two other captives that have decided that power over others, even if they were powerless to solve their own situation, was better then nothing.  Unfortunately for them, Moses was not in the mood to be ruled.

It was a bad day to begin with and he was not going to put up with these two, no matter the costs. Not in the best of shape, he knew the fight would have to be short and very nasty.  Marquis of Queensberry rules would not be good here.  This was a street fight, and the dirtiest one would win.  Moses was dirty, and lucky.

Battered and bloody, other victims of the two fallen moaning bodies come forward.  Moses stands up and scares the hell out of them. They tell him what has happened and ask if they may have justice.  Moses does not object. He allows them to punish the fallen to a point that he would later regret.

Moses fines out that their captors are aliens of a different color. They have taken the Earthlings for experimentation.  To determine their pain threshold, and mental strength.  Unfortunately, these aliens are being pursued by others, the very ones that Moses and the other Earthlings represent.  Moses does not know it, but his woe is just beginning.

I hope you enjoy this first volume.  While it is science fiction, anything not on earth is science fiction since earth is the only inhabited planet we know of, it is really a means to send my hero to another world to solve mysteries.  While he learns many other things about the human condition all the way, Moses really only wants to go home.  With the other ten volumes, we will see if he succeeds.
