About the Book

As a daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, widow, great-grandmother, friend and minister LaVonne Brown learned the lessons of life and the truth of scripture, “He who promised is faithful.” The months of the year suggested a story now told in twelve equal parts. Her memories and perspectives have made her a popular teacher and speaker. “Ready, Set, Glow” has been a recurring theme in her appearances at retreats and banquets.
