About the Book
THE BOOK: When the armies of LA’s racial junta invade San Francisco in a desperate grab for the water rights, a young teenager, his family and his friends are at ground zero in the violent struggle for independence. This Parallel California™ book honors the 5th anniversary of the controversial film of the same name. An excellent adventure story that will thrill the reader with a exciting invitation to an amazing world of urban monasteries, silicane and hard fought battles on what we think of as American soil. It is a fresh kind of alternative universe with powerful resonances and recognizable connections to the world of today. Intended for readers of any age who revel in adventure and exploration, Wartime California uses the conventions of the motion picture screen play to give the reader a rich visual experience.
