About the Author

Mitch Newman is a High School Physical Education Teacher, Dean and Girls' Varsity Basketball Coach at a Brooklyn High School. He has published various articles in sports periodicals and was a columnist in a local Brooklyn newspaper for four years. Mr. Newman lives at the New Jesey Shore with his wife, Kris, their 6 cats and 3 horses.
