About the Book
The poems in this book represent a cluster of look backs in the poet’s life. Delving into regions sometimes fostered by spontaneity as a man in the shower has a sudden hanker to look into a man’s ear, his own ear, to see perhaps when things were first made. Theses sketches piled together make a time line to the near present as well as a latent track for the future.
Laced amongst these sixty poems are pieces of historical interest such as the American Civil War, social religion, and the Holocaust. The Holocaust is of major importance to the writer. It burns from one end to the other in Early Midnight.
