About the Author

Shirley E. Rich was born in Wisconsin in 1936. She was number four of five children, unfortunately, two of her siblings past away as young children. She married Lyle Rich in 1960 and after their 25th Wedding Anniversary, Lyle passed away. The loss of Lyle was so hard to bear that she could only get through the days by writing poetry. It was after that tragic day that everyone realized she had an exquisite gift of writing poetry. She has been writing since 1986 and has been recognized by many people of her incredible God given gift.
