The author, a one-time monk himself, has had firsthand experience with these incredible machines, having taken them many times to The Edge and beyond. A man who has known the varieties of spiritual elation at all known levels, he could only utter the following cry after his first experience with a Formula One car: Good God Almighty!.. A Religious Experience if there ever was one! We all know God in different ways. And He surely knows us and our far-flung ambitions.
