This book is a collection of stories and poems, recollections and reflections, inspired by various events in life, great and small. The title comes from the name of one of the poems, and the subtitle reflects a loose theme running throughout. But only you, the Reader, will be able to accurately describe the book because it is understood through the context of your own experiences and background. You will take from it what you bring to it.

About the Author

Magdale Labbé Henke, a practicing lawyer, has been writing poetry and stories as long as she can remember. A native New Yorker, she attended the famed LaGuardia High School of Music and Art (formerly High School of Performing Arts and High School of Music and Art), studying drama. Magdale is also a big sports fan. She worked for CBS Sports at the 1994 Winter Olympics in Norway, and for the National Hockey League for six years. Magdale now lives in Munich, Germany with her husband, Kai, and hopes to visit every continent for continued inspiration for her writing.
