About the Book
A space shuttle is launched with software intentionally corrupted, resulting in a failed abort attempt and crash in Florida. One crew member is killed, the others injured. Terry McGreggor, NASA software genius and former computer hacker, leads a NASA inside investigation to discover the cause and have explanations ready before releasing it to the press. The investigation takes Terry through deceptions within NASA and American industry, to connections with those who want onboard experiments destroyed, to the love and loss of a beautiful young woman, to an attempted coverup that Terry has to bring to the American people.
About the Author
The author was involved with NASA during the entire development life cycle of the Space Shuttle, and for several years led an effort for the independent verification of the onboard software. His first book Debris was published in April of 2001. He currently lives in the Clear Lake area of Houston, Texas, adjacent to the NASA Johnson Space Center.
