About the Book

MAKE WAY FOR PUGSLEY, written and illustrated by Betty O. Carpenter, tells what happens in a family in which a cat who lives happily with her humans suddenly has to adjust to sharing her home with a brand new kitten. By extension, it is not too different from bringing home any new baby.

About the Author

Dr. Betty O. Carpenter has had a distinguished career as an educator, culminated by ten years of service as a superintendent of schools. Since her retirement she has pursued her interests in painting, sculpture, golf, duplicate bridge, tournament scrabble, computers and writing. Her published work includes: MUSINGS; A CURRICULUM HANDBOOK FOR PARENTS AND TEACHERS; TUTORING FOR PAY; THE BROSH; LADY OF THE LAKE; INHERIT THE RAINBOW; ART AND CRAFTINESS; and CRYSTAL SLOPES. She is a widow and takes great pride in her son, daughter, three step-daughters, their spouses, and her seven grandchildren. She is listed in WHO’S WHO IN THE WORLD.
