About the Book

Galen Kerrigan, a deputy is fired because of the Cedar Pencil. Still holding the badge, he rescues his future brother in law and he and Cynthia go on their honeymoon.

Returning to a mediocre job as a guard, he is wounded when he foils an attempted robbery. Leaving this job, he begins to campaign for the job of sheriff.

With the help of the SAVE teams and the deputies, Galen cleans up the county and makes it safe for ordinary citizens to walk the streets again ( SAVE being the first letters of Sheriff’s Auxiliary Volunteer Enforcement).

Then he goes after the Cedar Pencil, holding on until he solves the riddle.

ABOUT THIS AUTHOR In my case, blindness is not a handicap, but an asset allowing me to do the thing I love most, write. None of this was possible until the VA sent me to Waco to learn how to use the computer. Unable to see the screen, I listen to Jeopardy and any or all ball games, including college football games Although I am linked to the net, I cannot make my computer read much of it. Wife must do that much for me, reading e mails and such.
