About the Book

Continuing his descriptions of practical magical techniques, Draja Mickharic illustrates the use of symbolism and intent in magic by using examples of spells and operations in natural magic. Controling spells, other than those mentioned in his book Mental Influence, are discussed, as are the use of affirmations and self hypnosis by both magicians and their clients. The European practice of Summoning and Involking spirits and entities is dealt with in detail, with training exercises culminating in summoning to visible apperance of an entity in the smoke body of incense fumes. This book is designed for the trained practical magician and is likely to be of little or no benefit to the untrained novice.

About the Author

Draja Mickaharic was born in rural Bosnia shortly before the First World War. Immigrating to the United States in 1939, he arrived in New York City where he has made his home. He practiced as a folk magician and counselor, serving the ethnic population of the lower east side of New York for forty-five years. Now retired from active practice, he devotes himself to writing when physically able. He is the author of three other books dealing with magic, published by Samuel Weiser, Inc., now Red Wheel Weiser of Boston, and four other books published by Xlibris.com of Philadelphia.
