Cliff Lunden contemplates this as he attempts to make sense out of the conundrum he is drawn into by botanist Jennifer Jarvis. While performing a cosmic ray study using wood samples from trees near Cliff’s boyhood home, Jennifer has produced some bizarre photographs She wants him to verify the authenticity of the pictures.
