There is a reason for everything that happens in life no matter what the incident. This book addresses at some length the good that can result from terrible tragedies. Even some thoughts about the O. J. Simpson case are taken up briefly. Just how wrong is suicide? This, along with violence, is another aspect of life that is dealt with. Why is there so much violence at this time? According to the theory of reincarnation some reasonable arguments are advanced as to its causes. It’s something to think about. According to the writer capital punishment is also very wrong. For a person to commit murder is, of course, wrong. For the state to take a life is also wrong. Two wrongs just don’t make a right. Even a short discussion of the prodigal son is taken up in a short commentary.


About the Author

The author was born in Evansville, Indiana in 1914 and only had twelve years of formal education and some correspondence courses. After graduation from Plymouth, Indiana high school Mr. Stewart started his career on a country newspaper in Kentucky as printer and all around newspaper work form sweeping the floors to writing an editorial. Mr. Stewart claims to have started the flush left headings on newspaper articles, a style that is widely used today. This claim according to some sources is debatable. This incident is demonstrated in an unsold screenplay Mr. Stewart has written. Mr. Stewart spent his last twenty-eight years on The Indianapolis Star as compositor and make-up man. The author says this is not really a biography but a story of how and why he thinks the way he does, At the age of elevcn thy author startcd thinking for himself. Religion did not satisfy him. After reading many books, articles and going to many lectures he accepted the theory of reincarnation. It is the only answer that he believes can explain the immortality of the soul and the fact that we are living in eternity.
