Law to the Order (Excerpts from Jail)

About the Book

I equate this incarceration situation with one that happened many, many years ago, where men, women and children were stripped of all their human rights, taken by force away from their homelands and onto boats filled with despair, hate, violence and suffering. These people, after spending months on these boats were dropped off in the ‘Americas’, a world and life of slavery. My captors were the Baltimore City Police Department, the criminal justice system, which includes, but is not limited to, the States Attorney’s Office for Baltimore City. My boat was the Baltimore City Detention Center and my release date was the next phase of my journey through ‘The Americas’, back into a world with little hope of equality or what is called justice. No names were changed to protect the innocent, because there was only one, and he doesn’t mind his name being known.
