About the Author

SUSAN ZIZZA began a publishing career in 1986, serving as editor and photojournalist for northern New England publications, including the News and Sentinel and Colebrook Chronicle, winning Editor of the Year and Spot Photography awards from the New Hampshire Press Association. She has authored a book in Arcadia Publishing’s Images of America series, and is a contributing author to the anthology, Beyond the Notches: Stories of Place in New Hampshire’s North Country.
