About the Book
Flight instructor Marc Carr and his nephew Tim are forced by violent winds to make a crash landing in an uncharted area surrounded by unscalable mountains. Befriended by a local family, Marc and Tim find themselves in a land trapped in a time warp. The original inhabitants, an ill-fated shipload of religious dissidents headed for the New World over 200 years ago, were locked into a secluded area by hurricane winds and an earthquake. Zahtya ahs developed a matriarchal society and Zahtyans survive because they cooperate. Marc and Tim’s desire to repair their aircraft and leave is made difficult by Zahtya’s non-technical society.
