ABOUT THE AUTHOR Kimberly Alameda grew up in the East Bay portion of the Bay Area, California. She has a unique perspective in capturing the beauty of ordinary life, and its surroundings. Sometimes a journey through the darkness brings one an appreciation of the light. Read a collection of poems from a different point of view and a place not everyone gets the opportunity to see. When not writing, Kimberly enjoys playing with her dogs, photography, and the company of her strange, but endearing friends.
