IN THE WAITING ROOM OF FORGIVENESS encompasses love, treachery, deceit and triumph. The story starts in Germany in 1912 and ends after World War II. It revolves around Lily von Wallenstadt (nee Mendelssohn-Bartholdy), a concert pianist, her daughter Hannah, and the individuals in their lives. It is mainly a tale of people, but also one of the nation in which they live. The characters are emblematic of their time and background. This constrains them all, but ultimately liberates some. The story is told in a realistic, hard hitting manner that promises the reader a compelling, powerful and shocking experience.

The author currently resides in the New Jersey countryside near Princeton. This is his first novel.
