About the Author
Connie Mae Mann was born in Memphis,Tennessee. She now resides in Chicago, Illinois. She is the 4th Child of 7 Sisters. She is 78 years old. Connie earned an Associates in Applied Science Degree from Malcolm X College and worked in a medical laboratory for 5 years. She also earned a Bachelors Degree in English from Roosevelt University and a Masters Degree in Education/Administration from Governors State University. She is now a retired Chicago Public School teacher where she taught for 27 years.
