About the Book

Katy Wilkins is a prominent citizen of her home town. An original member of the Tree Leaning Pine Country Club, Women’s Auxiliary, sat on the city council, has a library named after her from her yearly donations, now on trial for murder and kidnapping. Local citizen protested demanding her freed from custody, blocking jurors and attorneys from entering the court building on a daily basis. Twist and turns occur throughout the trial, will she be freed or serve a life sentence, compelling testimony, you’ll be the judge of her fate.

About the Author

H.F. Beaumont, has written the fourth fiction novels, continuing the sequel of Descending the Spiral Staircase, The Wiloby Estates, Stockdale Avenue, enticing his readers to delve, into putting the murder puzzle together. Born in western Pennsylvania, drafted into the Marine Corps during Vietnam, was an order writer and correspondence clerk, majored in ornamental horticulture in college once released from military duty. Became a landscape estimator, project manager, purchasing agent, site development estimator and landscape designer for over forty-five years. Married twice, two children, two step children, four grandchildren, life has treated H.F. Beaumont very well emotionally, spiritually, financially, well, the jury is still out, on that issue.
