About the Book

This book is about a little girl whose curiosity gets her into trouble. She is a good little girl and she obeys her parents, but like most children she likes to explore. Go with Payton as she explores the forest and goes fishing when she isn't suppose to.

About the Author

I was born in Pikeville Kentucky. I attended Pikeville College, graduated with two degrees, one in psychology and one in human services. I have six children: Kevin, Scottie, Earl, Virginia, Payton, and Christian. They are my world. I have several grandchildren, and great grandchildren. I have always wanted to help people so I chose a job working in a crisis unit for troubled and abused children. It was a rewarding job working to help these children, but it was also heart breaking. One of the reasons that I started writing was to ease the heartbreaks that has happened in my life: abuse, death of family members and divorce.
