In a world where technology has partially replaced interpersonal communication between individuals, it is important for people to continue to speak with God. God desires relationships and for a relationship to work there has to be active communication. ‘So shall my word be that goes forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it.’ Isaiah 55:11 ‘Then said the LORD unto me, Thou hast well seen: for I will hasten my word to perform it.’ Jeremiah 1:12 In this book, Brigette Neita-Bailey highlights the dynamic power of praying and the consuming fi re of the Holy Spirit working through our prayers and shaping the universe. It emphasizes that effective fervent prayers along with strong intimate relationship with God is a force of power to be reckoned with, and does result in change. ‘Let my prayer be set forth before thee as incense; and the lifting up of my hands as the evening sacrifi ce.’ Psalm 141:2-3

About the Author

Brigette Neita-Bailey is the founder and Director of Hephzibah Well-Being Foundation. She is a Psychodynamic Counsellor and a Lecturer in Further and Higher Education. Brigette is passionate about missionary work and the social development of disaffected youth and families. She is a valiant prayer warrior, and an advocate for helping people discover their true self in Christ through inner transformation. Brigette and her husband Paul have been blessed with three sons, Marc- Kino, Rasheed and Jaleel.
