About the Book
“Theory of Satellite and Mobile (Cellular) Telecommunications” is a book for a review of the basic theoretical aspects of the subject(s) encompassed in its title. Usually, most books in this area focus on one or the other of the two types of modern telecommunications – satellite or mobile. In this book, the effort has been to present a combined treatment, although the book does not go into practical and engineering details including equipment and hardware, implementation, performance measurements, etc. It is hoped that students as well as professional active in the area of satellite and mobile telecommunications can still benefit from the purely theoretical presentation of some of the fundamental topics and issues involved
