About the Book
Lord of the World is the second novel from John McLeod. A sequel to The Lion of Macedonia, it continues the epic story of Alexander the Great through the years of the Persian campaign, tracing his progression from the Hellespont through Egypt and Babylon to the borders of India. Lord of the World is meticulously researched, and weaves the known facts into a believably fictional account of Alexander’s life and career. It could have happened this way.
