About the Book

Christians of the Lie is a detective story. The “corpus delicti” is our current religious conditions: The disillusionment over religious institutions, the willingness to accept uncritically just about any religious doctrine, and the “angst” of modern man. Who did it? Thanks to current research we now know what Jesus taught. It is labeled Shepherd Theology. Thanks to research we know how the philosophy of Stoicism penetrated the early church and then distorted that church’s message down to our own time. Christians of the Lie ends in a vision of what could happen if Shepherd Theology were put into practice today.

About the Author

As a university professor, Dr. Zillmer has authored many books and periodicals about the truth Jesus brought into our world. We must now return to that truth for our salvation. Political correctness, passing as progressivism, has shorn the life blood from the Jesus Message. (45) As the citizens of the United States must return to the principles of our founding fathers, so we must fight this great evil by returning to the gospel truth Jesus brought into this world. Jesus said, “You shall know the truth and the truth shall set you free.” To that end this work is humbly dedicated.
