This collection of short stories ranges from jealousy to possessiveness, to people who are lost in their lives, to someone trying to hold on to winter, to someone finally getting out of an abusive relationship, to science fiction, to an intense psychological picture of mental illness, to a shy person wanting to say something to someone who he sees each day, to a company where a lot of mysteries live. In other words, this collection is a potpourri of stories.

About the Author

LLOYD E. SCOTT (b. 1955) was born in Oakland, California, reared in Berkeley and Los Angeles, California. He is divorced with no children and lives in Oakland. He is the author of 11 novels, and over eight collections of short stories. Lloyd works for a Law Firm in San Francisco’s Financial District.
