About the Book

It was a cold, dark, autumn night,
and Bobby and Jason and their dad are
lost in the eerie darkness of the
South Jersey Pine Barrens.
Little did Bobby and Jason know that
this very night they would encounter the most
frightening creature ever to enter
their wildest imaginations.
A 223-year-old legend would once
again prove that legends never die!
In the Story “A Devil in the Pines”
Bobby and Jason meet up with the Jersey Devil
for the first time; but it won’t be their last.
But while they are fighting for their
lives, where is Dad?
Why does he leave them and what is
he doing out there in those dark
woods all alone?

About the Author

Award-winning author Stephanie Armiger is a single mom of four children: Alison, Nathan, Ryan and Hannah. She was born and raised in South Jersey. She now lives in Twin Falls, Idaho with Hannah and their cat Yoda. She is also the author of “Baby Hannah’s Journey” and a full length musical about the Statue of Liberty entitled “Bartholdi’s Lady.” She studied art in College and is a graduate of the Institute of Children’s Literature.
