About the Book

While growing up in a small rural town in Mississippi there were a time in my life when it was filled with love laughter and joy, until it was overshadowed with some dark and dreary years. This was something that I would not wish upon anybody, especially when that someone is someone that you loved and trusted, a person that you looked up to, someone to protect you. With it being so drastic and horrible, it has disturbed me my entire life. This shadow hovered over me to the point that I decided to write about it. As you read this book, my intent is that it will touch someone that has experienced the same that I have or similar and will be relieved of the bitterness bottled up inside of them. The moment I laid my feelings on the paper, I felt a burden lifted from my shoulders. I gained that deep feeling of affirmation and fulfillment that I had missed out on most of my life.
