About the Book
Looking For A City is a modern retelling of the Prodigal Son tale, with the emphasis on the son who stayed behind. Jeff Hawkins always played it straight. He had the right job. He had the right girlfriend. He joined the right clubs. He attended the right church. But, he did it for all the wrong reasons. Then, his brother returned. And, Jeff didn’t want to share. Set among the Appalachians, Looking For A City is a psychological examination of the hypocrite.
