About the Book

Every human being is endowed with boundless capabilities to experience an exciting, fulfilling and victorious life. Too many people however are not even aware of the vastness of their abilities. They have dreams but fail to achieve them. They withdraw at the first sign of obstacles; they look around for help from others; they doubt their ability and worth and worst of all they wait for help from a God that they do not even know. The purpose of the book is to urge its readers to take a broader, healthier and truer view of themselves, dream bigger dreams and believe in themselves as capable of doing anything, independent of help from anyone, even God. Regardless of the difficulty and complexity of human experience, the reader needs only believe in himself alone, that he has abundant inner strength, courage and wisdom to draw on and move on. Delay and self-doubt are defeating, self-confidence and perseverance are the road to success.

About the Author

Alcides Vidal was born in Peru. In 1977 he migrated to Brazil as an experienced professional in Information Technology and later obtained Brazilian citizenship. In Brazil he worked in large industrial enterprises; he was professor at the Methodist University and he published the following books, "History of the Computer and His Experience", "Outsourcing Information Technology", "Business Tools" and "Fruits of the Past, Seeds of the Future" In 1993 he migrated to the United States, where he is now a permanent resident. In US he worked in large companies and he published the following books; "From Dream to Reality", "Immigrants, USA", "Original Perceptions", "You are God", "Tú eres Dios" and "Encouraging-You" "Original Perceptions" is his ninth book and his third in English.
