About the Author

Rose McTaylor was born and raised on the island of Barbados, West Indies. She received her formal education at the University of the West Indies where she gained a Bachelor of Arts in Literature, Linguistics and Sociology and gained accreditation as a school counselor with the Columbus Public Schools and The Ohio State University. Currently, I am a high school English teacher with the New York Public Schools. My lifelong interest in literature has led to the inspiration for and creation of two books of poetry: The Second Coming and this volume. As you read, you may find vestiges of your life in the tapestries of the writings.
