Jeremiah, “the Weeping Prophet,” of the Bible’s Old Testament comes to life in readable poetry, giving the reader insights into the desires, hopes, and dreams of God that is maybe applicable to our own times. The situations and challenges of Jeremiah’s time seem relevant to our own, and Jeremiah’s responses may also be a pattern for our own.

About the Author

Mary Heyn is a recently retired Christian elementary schoolteacher with a love for God, a love for children, and a recognized gift for words. She is also the published author of City of Light (Rose Dog Books), Mary’s Gospel Glory Stories, Mary’s Old Testament Tales, Mary’s Baby Church Tales, and many unpublished songs.
