AMAZING BOOK!
The story at first is about all these people who live underground, but suddenly things start to lose control in this colony, chaos breaks out and everything they knew will change. Until together with our male lead we’ll enter the unknown, what is up there, outside the gates.
All this post-apocalyptic environment is intriguing and full of mysteries, action, the screamers all about the virus were super interesting.
The characters felt real, they've suffered from guilt and pain, they’ve given all their effort to survive in this world, you become attached to them. All the supporting characters make a solid impact in the story, I feel such a strong connection with them. My favorite was our protagonist, he is not the typical one that is usually found in stories and from the beginning to the end of the book we can observe the great development that he has.
Something that fascinated me is that the book is accompanied on some pages with amazing illustrations to get deeper into the story. Reading this book really felt like a movie was going through my head, the author with his way of narrating, manages to get you hooked on the story and not wanting to letting go until you finish it.
The author was able to create a world in which I am completely drawn in. I found out that we’ll soon have a video game set in this world. AND YOU DON'T KNOW HOW EXCITED I AM ABOUT THAT. IT’S GOING TO BE SO EPIC.
The whole concept is interesting and well developed, the world building is great, and I really felt and enjoyed the vibe of this book An exciting start to a series and I really can't wait to read and find out more about this world, especially after reading the end of this book! I NEED THE SEQUEL NOW!!!
I REALLY RECOMMEND TO AN OPORTUNITY TO THIS STORY. YOU WON’T BE DISAPPOINTED.

Imagine a world where you had to live underground. A life where the world above is chaotic and violent. Would you go above ground and try to survive? This is a story of a young boy who survives all odds above the ground as hope shines above than under. This book’s plot was fascinating and captivating. The plot has its twists and turns; the middle can get a bit slow, but it builds up and catches on very quickly. The characters are well developed. The main character’s personality evolves throughout the story. His interactions with other characters subsequently build them up. We can relate much to the themes presented. Whilst the world told is different from ours, most events are very relatable. This makes the book thought-provoking. It is narrated in the first person, making it a more personal story. This is the first book in the series. I intend to read the subsequent book. I would definitely recommend this book. It takes you to a world filled with fear, and when you come out of it, you are braver than you have ever been. Fantastic read!!
