About the Book
What special gift can an oyster give us? Is there a difference between a crocodile and an alligator? How can a squirrel fly? Is he a bird? How does the size of an elephant show in which country he originated? Here are the fascinating answers to a few of those questions. Oysters, lemurs, arctic foxes and other animals all have wonderful and different features, from fur that changes colour in the winter to flying without wings. This children’s poem shares fun and intriguing facts about animals, helping young readers engage and discover the world around them.
