About the Author
Lilia R. Grasso is an Educator graduated at the University José Martí, in Camagüey Province and later completed her Master and Doctor degree at University of the Orient. She worked for many years as a Professor of Spanish and Literature in her native Cuba. From 1996, Lilia has been a Spanish Teacher at Thomas Nelson Community College, in the State of Virginia. Since early childhood Lilia loved music, literature and Nature; she wrote numerous children stories and composed educational and ecological songs for the little ones. She has also successfully explored the composition of adult songs, and received several awards in cultural events and musical competitions, such as the Personality of Culture Award in Ciego de Avila. Besides being an exciting story, this book brings great educational and ecological value; and for those people who love learning another language, this book offers the opportunity of reading it in English and Spanish.
