Developing Spiritual Understanding

About the Book

Beyond Intellectual and Emotional Intelligence, there is another field of knowledge that is less visible but no less real: Spiritual Understanding. Even though the Bible affirms that the Spirit searches the God's depths and reveals it to us,1 many people think that this divine knowledge is reserved only for mystics and religious leaders. But the Bible was not written to found cults or religions but rather to reveal what is in the heart of the Creator to use, and to give us life. This is why it says that we live by every Word that comes from the mouth of God.2 Only the Bible contains the Word that comes from His mouth and stems from His heart. 3 If you know His Word, you also know His heart, His will. This is what the Apostle Paul calls Spiritual Understanding.4 God has plans for your life and that of your descendants, and you have a transcendent role in each of them, but you cannot achieve your purpose if you do not know the will of The One who created you. And to get to know someone there is nothing better than entering into a friendship. Allow me to help you get to know Him. Only by knowing the Holy Spirit can you activate all the potential that He has put inside of you.

About the Author

Eduardo Villegas was born in Caracas in November of 1961. He has been married to Marvelia for thirteen years and has three children: Gabriel, Mariana, and Daniel. He is a Public Accountant, a graduate of the National Open University of Venezuela, with a master's degree in Economics from Francisco Marroquín University in Guatemala. For the last seventeen years he has worked in one of the largest pharmaceutical companies in the world, taking on increasing responsibilities in the regional financial area of Latin America and United States, where he lives with his family. His first work, Open Your Eyes was published in Spanish in August of 2010. Other work already available translated to English is Value & Courage.
