About the Book
In Luke 8: 22- 39, Jesus takes his disciples on a sailing adventure that they will never forget, because of two big miracles. Their boat is caught in a vicious storm and Jesus stops it in its tracks! They are later ambushed by a wild man who has terrified his home town for years and Jesus heals him! But sadly, the people care more about a herd of pigs being drowned than they care about the man’s healing, so they send Jesus and his disciples back home. Here is the story as one of the town’s pig boys remembers that dramatic day.
About the Author
Storyteller Noel Mitaxa is an Australian syndicated writer. His insights come from years of working with people: as a counsellor; a pastor; a sports chaplain; and from living up close as a husband, father and grandfather. He invites us to fully activate our imagination as we read Bible stories and events. “Bible stories are true to life; so let the life wrap itself around you as you experience the story; or as the action happens right before your eyes. By placing children as central characters, I invite readers to explore the child-like trust and innocence that Jesus offers as we his kingdom. Then we may enjoy knowing that he loves us right where we are; but he loves us too much to leave us where we are. www.noelmitaxa.wordpress.com
