"Lisa Wisemantel - maiden name Stephenson - is a thirty year old married mother of one who was born, raised and currently lives in Newcastle, Australia. Smiling On The Inside tells the story - her story - of how her life changed suddenly and dramatically just after her twenty first birthday in 2002 when she underwent brain surgery. Her story gives you an insight into a life many people could not imagine living and although she has not coped with it as well as she would have liked too, she has learnt to cope with it through laughter and with the help of her family. Lisa's story is life changing but has not stopped her from Smiling On The Inside."
