About the Book
I was born in Invercargill on the southern tip of the South Island of New Zealand on the 25th of April 1946, thus becoming one of the leading edge baby boomers.
Ending up at Otago University in Dunedin, I completed a Masters degree in geology, writing both an Honours and a Masters thesis. I then ended up writing and editing a huge number of technical reports for the various Mines Departments in the SW Pacific we were required to report to, not to mention those that were destined for the board in New York.
As well as working in Australia and New Zealand, I spent time working in Papua New Guinea, Indonesia, Fiji and the Philippines. This book describes some of those experiences.
