About the Author

James A. Noble has been writing and publishing short-story mysteries for Alfred Hitchcock's Mystery Magazine since 1983. His characters, Winnie and Thatch, have appeared in six of them. Many of his mysteries have made their way into anthologies and foreign magazines in both France and Germany. When he's not writing mysteries or articles, you can find him out on the Chesapeake Bay in Maryland, fishing.
