About the Book
A mysterious, dragon-like monster threatens the peaceful land of Arazira. Viu, a boy with prophetic powers, becomes the High Priest. He soon faces a Mission Impossible: Cruel invaders arrive to steal the country’s riches and enslave its people. Other dangers include an evil wizard with a weird sense of humor . . .
The boy Viu tells the story. He is aided in his adventures by the good wizard Dawa, who teaches him various forms of magic. Viu also learns to be less proud–and to have the courage to be kind. At the end of the book, he and another boy (taught by the evil wizard Zygor) clash in a dramatic duel of magic. For ages 8 and up.
