About the Book

When Jimmy and Jenna offer to help Smoke dragon get her two cousins, still in the egg, back from the gnomes, all seems as easy as eating pie on a log. After all, what could go wrong? The gnomes are a friendly people and the whole egg-napping escapade is just a misunderstanding. Or is it?

Rather than give it all away, I’ll leave you to enjoy the story yourself. I wrote it for the little boy I once was, and for kids of all ages. It’s a good read-aloud book that may be shared over a period of weeks.

About the Author

I live and work on the central coast of California. My interests are books, hiking, good company over dinner, and movies preferably in a home theater setting. I also enjoy good wine and I hunt, unsuccessfully, for edible wild mushrooms. Unfortunately, I seem to have a knack for discovering the poisonous varieties. The most beautiful mushroom I have ever seen was a destroying angel. Stunning to look at, but deadly. Smoke and I have been trying to reproduce her record-breaking flight with me as onboard witness. So far, no luck. It seems that the added aerodynamic drag is too much for Smoke to overcome. I hope you enjoy Smoke and the gang as much as I do.
