Little Burt loves getting dirty and making messes, but much to his parent’s distress, he hates bathing and cleaning up. Sometimes being a dirty mess is fun, but if you never clean up, you can attract the wrong kind of attention-- especially if you are playing in the wrong places.

About the Author

Walt Thorp –Walt Thorp is a retired Air Force public affairs officer and lawyer who resides in Virginia. Linda Laird is a retired art teacher and crazy cat lady who lives in Delaware. The Garbage Goblins is a collaboration inspired by Walt’s and Linda’s experiences as parents raising their young children while sharing stories and illustrations.
