About the Book

Rae’s uneventful, island life gets kicked into overdrive when he finds himself branded by an ancient beast that has risen from the sea. Amidst a series of twisted events, he learns from a tree possessed by a spirit that he is the Deliverer; a legendary being destined to take all souls that roam the earth to their final resting place, but that place is unknown and there are many who wish to stop him. Things get even more complicated when he meets Suidowgé, a nobleman turned shepherd from a family whose 4 members rule the sky city of Peak; the richest, greatest city in all the world. This ambitious, violent man holds many secrets, several of which concern Rae and his true origins… and when Rae is made aware of all that he is capable of, he must decide either to help the vicious Suidowgé rule the world that the ancestors of whom they both shared envied or continue the path given him by his suspicious spirit protectors. To whom will the Deliverer…deliver?

About the Author

Born in 1986, Brandon DeRiggs is the author of 3 novels, including a spinoff of Deliverer entitled Unsent.  He made his writing debut at the tender age of 8, when he won the Halton Roman Catholic Board’s Young Author’s award for short story writing in 1994 for his “Chestnut” story. This unearthing of new talent led him to continue his passion and was further fueled by the good reviews of his peers and teachers for short stories he wrote thereafter into his later years. Nowadays he hopes to see all his novels (including a 4th novel under creation) adapted to films on the big screen or on TV. Brandon resides in Oakville, Canada.
