About the Author
My name is Elizabeth Cunningham-Sumpter. I was born in a small town called Eufaula, Alabama. My mother is Barbara Cunningham. My grandmother is the late Mary Lee Jordan. As a small child I loved to write make believe stories being the only child at the time. I had to keep myself busy doing something. Being from a small town there wasn't much to do. So I started writing stories. I had an amazing concept of things I wanted to write about. While my friends were playing with baby dolls and riding their bikes. So as I would start to write the stories would just come together. I started writing when I was 12 years old. Writing plays for my school to do. Writing is my passion. If my books help just one person then I have accomplished my goal. I don't write for the money. I write that I might help someone a long the way. Life is hard so I pray that my book will help someone who is lost. My grandmother would always say if life gives you lemons make lemonade. As I got older I wrote more plays for my school. When I turned 15 years old my mom moved to Shreveport, La where my stepdad was stationed. The late Sergeant James Earl Pearson.
