About the Book

My Life: A Collection of Short Story Poems is about my life experiences with remembering and reflecting on love, taking chances, happiness, sadness, life, death, racism and relationships. It is my hope that as you read this book you would remember your own life stories and reflect back on your own life experiences because you are still here. It is also my hope that you would share your stories to encourage yourself and to be an encouragement to those around you.

About the Author

Melissa A. Woodforlk is a proud graduate of Howard University in Washington, D.C., with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Management. She is also a graduate of the Interdenominational Theological Center, Morehouse School of Religion in Atlanta, Georgia, with a Master of Arts in Christian Education and a Master of Divinity in Biblical Studies. She is a licensed minister, who has devoted her life to God and fulfilling her call to the ministry working with children of all ages and people less fortunate than herself. She is an active member at New Birth South Metropolitan Church in Jonesboro, Georgia, where her pastor is the Reverend Andre Landers.
