About the Book

This book has appeal for both children and adults. It is full of sweet and touching stories, tales of the trials and triumphs of a mouse family. Mother Mouse is a widow with five children. Father Mouse has recently died, leaving the family to grapple with his memory and challenges of growing-up in his absence. They rise to the occasion, and many life lessons are learned in this truly magical year.

About the Author

Karyl Hall has recently retired to Carmel, California after 30 years as a Research Psychologist. She wrote many grant applications and published research in medical journals, a world away from children’s stories! She grew up in the Carmel area, to which she credits her active fantasy life.
